Care & Sizing
Like the shoreline that inspires my work, every Drift and Fire piece is made to weather time beautifully. With a little care, it'll stay just as striking as the day it left my studio.
Below, you'll find my tips for keeping your jewellery at its best, along with a ring size guide to help you find your perfect fit — for yourself, or someone you love.
Caring for Your Jewellery
To keep your piece looking its best for years to come:
Store it in a soft pouch or jewellery box when you're not wearing it, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Remove before swimming, showering, or applying perfume, lotion, and sunscreen — these can affect the finish over time.
Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove oils and everyday residue.
Avoid wearing during activities like gardening, exercise, or housework, where it could be scratched or knocked.
For a deeper clean, use a mild soapy water solution and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly before storing.
How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home.
Method 1: String or Paper Strip (Easiest)
Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps.
Measure the length in mm.
Match your measurement to the circumference column on the chart above.
Method 2: Use an Existing Ring
Find a ring that already fits well.
Measure the inside diameter (mm) across the middle.
Match it to the chart above.
